"Experience Nepal’s Buddhist Legacy: Guided Tours and Insights"

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and relax in Kathmandu, Nepal.

In the afternoon, visit Swayambhunath perched on a hilltop overlooking the city. This ancient stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
In the evening, participate in a sound healing session at a local yoga center. Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to promote relaxation and well-being.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Exploration
After breakfast, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. Boudhanath is a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhists and is surrounded by monasteries and gompas (meditation halls).

In the evening, participate in a meditation session at a Buddhist monastery. Meditation is a practice of focusing the mind to achieve a state of tranquility and inner peace.

Day 3: Day Trip to Namobuddha
After breakfast, take a day trip to Namobuddha, a pilgrimage site located about 35 kilometers from Kathmandu. Namobuddha is believed to be the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment in a previous life.

Visit the Namobuddha stupa and hike to the top of the hill for panoramic views of the surrounding area.

In the evening, return to Kathmandu and enjoy a dinner at a traditional Newari Nepali restaurant.

Day4: Day trip to Pharping
After breakfast, take a day trip to Pharping, a pilgrimage site located about 21 kilometers from Kathmandu. This location is widely considered the most profound of all sites connected with the activity of Guru Rinpoché. Here, the Mahaguru spent time in retreat in two caves located in what is now the village of Pharping. During the winter months he practiced at the sunny upper Asura Cave and during the hot summer months he retreated to the lower Yangleshö cave. While at the Asura Cave, through combining the practices of Yangdak Heruka and Vajrakilaya, he attained the ultimate fruition of Mahamudra, the Great Seal.

Visit the Pharping Gumba and hike to the top of the hill for panoramic views of the surrounding area.

In the evening, return to Kathmandu and enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.

Day 5: Kathmandu - Journey to Lumbini
Morning: After a leisurely breakfast in Kathmandu, depart for Lumbini. You can choose between a scenic flight to Bhairahawa airport (nearest airport to Lumbini) followed by a short drive, or a more adventurous journey by car (approximately 6-7 hours).

Afternoon: Upon reaching Lumbini, check in to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, head towards the sacred Maya Devi Temple, believed to be the exact spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who later became Lord Buddha. Participate in a guided meditation session within the temple complex, allowing yourself to soak in the spiritual aura of the place.

Evening: As the sun sets, immerse yourself in a rejuvenating sound healing session. Tibetan singing bowls will be used to create vibrations that promote relaxation, inner peace, and mindfulness.

Day 6: Unveiling the Buddhist Legacy of Lumbini
Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Lumbini International Meditation Center. Here, participate in a morning meditation session led by experienced practitioners.

Afternoon: After lunch, embark on a guided tour of the Lumbini Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the various monasteries built by followers of different Buddhist traditions from around the world. Each monastery reflects unique architectural styles and traditions, offering a glimpse into the diverse expressions of Buddhism

Late Afternoon: Visit the nearby Puskarni Pond, where Queen Maya Devi is said to have taken a holy bath before giving birth. Participate in a short water blessing ceremony, a traditional practice believed to bring peace and prosperity.

Evening: In the evening, bid farewell to Lumbini with a heartwarming candlelight ceremony at the Maya Devi Temple complex. Light a candle and offer prayers for peace and well-being.

Day 7: Departure
Enjoy breakfast before driving back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your onward journey.
