Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Leh
Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Leh. Leh, the capital of Ladakh.
Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Drink plenty of fluids
and avoid strenuous activity. In the afternoon, explore the local markets or visit the Shanti Stupa
for panoramic views of the city.
Day 2: leh exploration
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Leh. Visit the magnificent Leh Palace, a former
royal residence perched on a hill overlooking the city.
Next, head to the Spituk Monastery, a 16th-century Tibetan gompa known for its collection of statues
and murals Spituk Monastery, Ladakh
In the afternoon, explore the bustling Leh Main Market, where you can find souvenirs, handicrafts,
and local pashmina shawls.
Day 3:Sham valley Excursion
Today, take a day trip to the Sham Valley, a picturesque region located around 120 km from Leh. The valley is
known for its dramatic landscapes, ancient monasteries, and serene atmosphere.
Visit the Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most impressive gompa in Ladakh.
Later, continue to the Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh, famous for its collection of
religious artifacts and its annual Hemis Tsechu festival.
Day 4:Leh to Nubra valley via khardung la pass
Get ready for an exciting adventure as you embark on a journey to Nubra Valley, crossing the world's highest motor able pass, the Khardung La Pass, at an elevation
of 18,380 feet.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers as you navigate the challenging
yet scenic road.
Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, a high-altitude desert known for its sand dunes and Bactrian camels, check
into your camp and spend the rest of the day exploring the unique landscape.
Day 5: Nubra valley Exploration
Today, explore the wonders of Nubra Valley. Visit the Diskit Monastery, perched atop a hill and offering
stunning views of the valley below.
Later, take a ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel, a unique experience you won't find anywhere else in
India.
In the afternoon, you can also visit the Sumur Sand Dunes and experience the thrill of a jeep safari on the
sand dunes.
Day 6:Nubra Valley to Pangong lake
Bid farewell to Nubra Valley and embark on a scenic journey to Pangong Tso, a high-altitude lake famous for its mesmerizing beauty.
The drive offers stunning vistas of the Changthang plateau and nomadic settlements.
Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, check into your camp and spend the evening soaking in the
serenity of the surroundings.
Day 7 : Pangong lake to leh
After breakfast, enjoy some time at leisure by the Pangong Lake. You can take a boat ride on the lake
(subject to weather conditions) or simply relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Later, begin your journey back to Leh, stopping at Chang La Pass, the third-highest motor able pass in
the world, at an altitude of 17,590 feet.
Day 8:Departure from leh
After a memorable week in Ladakh, take a morning flight back to Kathmandu, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Himalayan adventure.
